Writing the essay. To me, writing the essay is linked with my creativity. Yes, we are able to use the art form of Music to establish our position on Topic vs. Main Idea. However, I mean Writing as an art form.
Writing is a form of expression, letting out our best ideas and concepts to be visually read/heard by another person. Often times I myself can't express the right words I want to use in a discussion so with the form of Writing, I can take my time and look for the right words that I want to use. By taking my time, I feel I am working at my own pace and eventually getting to the places (artistically) where I want to be. Whether that means spending 15 minutes or so on just 1 sentence, I am able to word all of the key terms or whatever you want to call them on the page (or computer screen). Think of this as a Painter. The Painter might take a couple of hours to get into detail of painting a tree, or he might take only 30 seconds. The time it takes for him to complete his image varies upon his mood, what went on that day, etc. Anyways, as I write my essay, I begin to understand/discover my creative work space and work ethic. As I've said earlier I might spend 15 minutes or so on 1 sentence or maybe even 30 seconds, but the fact that I need creative space/time to I guess "compose" my thoughts down the right way is essential. After all, it is quality over quantity.
